Our Take
Craig and Janet found each other in 2007 and combined families in 2009. We discovered, along with Craig’s two sons, that we shared a love of wilderness. Our country’s national parks and public lands have given us amazing opportunities to experience and bond with our staggering natural heritage.
While the entire planet is a treasure chest of nature’s jewels, we’ve recently chosen to immerse ourselves in the spectacular Western U.S. We’re probably like many folks from the East Coast, who can’t get enough of the variety and vastness of the place.
But we recognize that our desires, and those of millions more, are putting these incredible places at risk. Along with our shared passion for being in the wilderness, let our message be that sustainability must temper our ever-increasing demands for the experience.
